Announce an exhibition
An exhibition is prepared on one page: its poster, its venue, its dates, the artworks you show there. It appears at once on MycreArt and on your website, and moves by itself from “Upcoming” to “Ongoing”, then to “Past”.
Before you start
- The poster or a photo of the venue, as JPG, PNG or WebP. Without an image, one of your artworks illustrates the exhibition.
- The venue name, its address and the dates. The artworks you exhibit are already in your space.
Screen 1 · Exhibitions
In the menu, open Exhibitions, then click Add an exhibition.
Screen 2 · Add an exhibition
In Exhibition image, click Add and choose your poster.
Choose the Exhibition type — solo, group, fair, open studio… — and give the Title.
Enter the Venue name and its address. For the City, type the first letters and pick it from the list.
Give the Start date and the End date. For a hanging with no end date, turn on Permanent exhibition instead.
In Exhibited artworks, click Select artworks: tick the artworks you are showing, then Confirm selection.
The selection window:
Under Visibility, leave MycreArt gallery and Pro site on so it shows in both places, then click Save.
Done
The exhibition is in Exhibitions, with the state Upcoming. It has its public page on MycreArt, with the poster, the venue, the dates and the exhibited artworks, and it is listed on the Exhibitions page of your Pro Site. On the start date, it moves by itself to “Ongoing”.
Its public page, as a visitor sees it:
What if…
The exhibition is over?
Nothing to do: after the End date, it moves by itself to Past and stays in your exhibition history.
A hanging with no end date?
Turn on Permanent exhibition: only the start date is required, and the exhibition stays displayed as permanent.
Fix a date, change the poster, delete?
In the list, click the exhibition title, or open the ⋮ menu at the end of its line: Edit exhibition to change anything, Delete to remove it.
Prepare the labels for this exhibition?
The Labels button, on the exhibition line, opens the label preparation. The step-by-step is in Print my exhibition labels.
