Print my exhibition labels

The exhibition label is the small card placed next to the artwork during a show. You choose the artworks, the size and what goes on it: your artwork sheets do the rest, and you download a PDF ready to print and cut.

The whole task on video, from choosing the artworks to the sheet to print.

Before you start

Screen 1 · Documents

In the menu, open Documents, then Exhibition and back labels.

The Documents page, Prepare an exhibition section: the Exhibition and back labels line.

Screen 2 · Exhibition and back labels

Click New label, then choose Exhibition label.

The Exhibition and back labels page: the sets already created and, at the top, the New label button.
The New label page: three cards, Exhibition label, Back label and Mini QR label.

Screen 3 · New exhibition label

Give the set a name in Label set name — the name of the exhibition, to find it again. Then click Edit artwork selection: in the window, tick the artworks to hang and finish with Confirm selection.

The top of the New exhibition label page: the Label set name field filled in, then the artwork selection block with the Edit artwork selection button.
The Select artworks window: six artworks ticked, with their dimensions, medium and price, and the Confirm selection button.

In Format, choose the size: Small — business card, Medium — A7 or Large — A6. Leave Cut lines ticked, except on a pre-cut or self-adhesive sheet.

The Format block: Small — business card, Medium — A7 and Large — A6, then the Cut lines box.

In Label content, tick what should appear on the label: the price, the dimensions, your name… Then click Preview: a sample page appears with your settings.

The Label content block: the Price, Reference, Edition, Artist name, Nationality and birth year boxes, the dimensions choice, and the Preview button.
The Preview window: a sample page, with on each label the artist's name, the title and year, the medium, the dimensions, the price and a QR code.

In QR code, choose under What does the visitor see? the page that opens when someone scans the label. Then click Save label set.

The QR code block: the Show QR code box, then What does the visitor see? with Artwork details and Contact card; below, the Save label set button.

Screen 4 · Edit label set

The page of the set opens. Click PDF: the sheet downloads. Print it at 100% (actual size), never “fit to page”, then cut along the lines.

The Edit label set page: the PDF button next to the title, and the name of the set.

Done

The PDF is built from your artwork sheets, one label per artwork, in the order of your selection. The set stays in Exhibition and back labels: you reopen it, change it and print it again whenever you like. The arrow next to PDF gives the French or the English version. Do a test on one page before printing the whole run.

The sheet to print: six labels on an A4 page, separated by the cut lines.

In the list, the saved set:

The Exhibition and back labels page: the Exposition d'automne set at the top of the list, six artworks, QR active, and its PDF button.

What if…

A price or a title changes afterwards?

Correct the artwork sheet. Then reopen the set, click Save changes and PDF again: the PDF picks up the updated information. That is also where you add or remove an artwork.

Where does the QR code lead?

By default, to the artwork's page: on your Pro Site if it is online, otherwise in your MycreArt gallery. In Pro mode, you can also choose Contact card, your Instagram or a link of your own, and change it whenever you like, even once the labels are printed: reopen the set, QR code section, then Save changes.

The exhibition is over?

Keep the set in the list as long as printed copies are around: if you delete it, its QR codes no longer lead anywhere. To switch them off without deleting anything, open the three dots next to PDF and choose Disable QR links; Re-enable QR links brings them back.

You are not in Pro mode?

Exhibition labels are open to everyone. With the free plan: the Medium — A7 size, the artworks visible in your gallery, and a QR code to the artwork's page on MycreArt. The Small — business card and Large — A6 sizes, the choice of destination and labels without a QR code are part of Pro mode.
