Sales & payments

Your sales, tracked cleanly from start to finish.

Four ways to record a sale, one place to track them. Every sale prepares its documents and updates your inventory — with 0% MycreArt commission.

All your sales in one place: status, net amount, buyer and attached documents.
With Pro mode

A sale can start anywhere

A collector messages you on Instagram, stops by your booth or walks into the studio. What follows never changes: they pay on a page in your name, and the documents follow.

It starts…

On Instagram

A private message: “Is this painting still available?”. You send a proposal at the agreed price.

At a fair

The visitor scans the label, finds the artwork — and can pay right away.

At the studio

You take payment however you like. MycreArt records the sale and prepares the documents.

…it settles here…

Four ways to close

The channel that fits the situation

Online purchase, art fair, remote sale or in-person transaction: whatever the channel, everything flows into the same dashboard.

Direct purchase on your Pro Site

Once online sales are enabled and your Stripe account connected, an “Acquire” button appears on your available artworks. The visitor pays by secure Stripe card, with no prior contact.

QR code at the exhibition

You display a QR code at your booth. The visitor scans it and pays by card, with no payment terminal. The funds are then transferred by Stripe to your account.

Payment link by message

After a conversation with a collector, you send them a link. They pay, you receive the money. Ideal for remote sales.

Manual entry (check, transfer, cash)

You record a sale closed in person — opening, studio, fair. Buyer tracking and documents are generated just like the other channels.

Online payments run through Stripe: MycreArt never holds the money and takes 0% MycreArt commission.

After the sale

What updates once the sale is closed

As soon as payment is confirmed or the sale is entered, MycreArt updates the artwork, the documents and the buyer record.

  1. 1

    The artwork status becomes “Sold”

In your inventory and on your Pro Site, the artwork is no longer offered for sale. No risk of a double sale.

  2. 2

The invoice or receipt is generated

MycreArt prepares the invoice or receipt, with the price, applicable VAT, buyer and seller identity, and the notices that match your profile. The PDF switches to Factur-X format when the sale is eligible (SIRET, buyer in France).

  3. 3

The certificate is attached, if it already exists (optional)

If you've already created a valid certificate for the artwork and enabled auto-sending, it accompanies the sale documents with its verification QR code. It is not created at the time of sale.

  4. 4

    The buyer is recorded

Contact details, artwork bought, amount, date. You keep the relationship with your buyer — not MycreArt.

  5. 5

The money arrives in your bank account

Usually a few business days, depending on Stripe — the first payout is often a little longer. MycreArt never holds the money and takes 0% MycreArt commission.

Tracking, in detail

What you keep in hand on every sale

Beyond the payment, every sale stays readable and editable: status, payment method, shipping, refund and buyer.

Sale status

Pending, paid or refunded: you see where each transaction stands at a glance.

Payment method

Stripe, card terminal, cash, transfer or check. The right method is attached to each sale, online or in person.

Shipping tracking

Four statuses — pending, shipped, delivered, collected — to know where the handover of the artwork stands.

Refund

Full or partial when needed. The sale reflects the refund and stays on record.

Buyer record

Each buyer has a record: contact details and artworks acquired. Your collector file builds up sale after sale.

Artist's net

The amount you receive is calculated after any commission, so you know exactly what reaches you.

How artists use it

Four situations where sales tracking helps

1

Sale at an opening

The visitor says yes. You show them the QR on your phone, they pay by card. The sale document can then be sent to them by email.

2

Remote collector

After a conversation by message, you generate a payment link and send it. Once paid, the artwork is marked sold and the documents can go out.

3

Sale paid by check or transfer

Check or bank transfer: you enter the sale manually, MycreArt prepares the sale document and links the buyer to the artwork.

4

Tracking for accounting

At year-end, you export your sales file and find the associated documents before sending them to your accountant.
