Put my Pro Site online
Your website exists as soon as you subscribe to Pro, with your artworks already in it. What remains is choosing its address, activating it, then making it yours: a mood, your home page, and you publish.
Before you start
- Your Pro subscription is active.
- A few artworks with a photo are online in your space: they are what fills the website.
Screen 1 · Pro Site
In the menu, open Pro Site. Choose Your subdomain, your website address — firstname-lastname works very well — then click Activate my site. You will be able to change it, but three times at most: take time to choose it.
Your website is Online, at its address. Click Customize to open it in the editor.
Screen 2 · Your website editor
Appearance tab: in Moods, pick one — colors, typography and header fall into place at once. Then fine-tune, if you like, with Colors and Typography. On a phone, the panel opens with the Settings button at the bottom of the screen.
Content tab: Site Identity (your name as displayed), Your homepage (the artwork shown large), Navigation and pages (the pages of the menu), Contact details and networks. Every change shows at once in the preview.
Top right, click Publish. Until you publish, your visitors see the website as it was; Discard discards the draft.
Done
Your website is visible at its address, over https, with your online artworks. In Pro Site, Copy site address gives it to you to paste on Instagram, your cards, your e-mail signature.
What if…
Change the address?
In Settings, Change subdomain. Three changes at most, and the old address keeps redirecting to the new one: links already shared do not break.
Your own domain name?
A domain name bought from OVH, Gandi, Ionos… can become the main address. The records to create are explained in Connect my domain name to my Pro Site.
Pause the website?
In Settings, Deactivate my site: the website stops answering, nothing is deleted. Activate my site puts it back online as it was, with the same address.
Which artworks appear?
All your artworks that are online in your space. To choose the ones on the home page: Content tab, Featured works.
