Delete an artwork

An artwork added by mistake, a duplicate, or one you no longer show: you delete it from the list of your artworks or from its sheet. It then waits 90 days in the trash, long enough to take it back if you change your mind.

Open “Artworks” In your artist space.

Before you start

Screen 1 · Artworks

In the menu, open Artworks. Under the artwork to delete, click the three dots, bottom right.

The Artworks screen: the first row of artworks, each with its status, its price and, bottom right, three dots.

In the menu that opens, click Delete.

The menu open under an artwork: Edit, View public page, Change status, Change location, Visibility and, in red, Delete.

A window asks for confirmation: click Delete artwork.

The “Delete this artwork?” window: the artwork will be placed in the trash for 90 days, with the Cancel and Delete artwork buttons.

Screen 2 · The artwork sheet

You can also delete the artwork from its sheet: at the top right, click the three dots, then Delete this artwork. Confirm with Delete artwork.

The top of an artwork sheet: to the right of the Generate a certificate and Sell buttons, the three dots, open on Delete this artwork.

The confirmation window warns you if the artwork is linked to a sale or a certificate.

Screen 3 · Artworks, several at once

For several artworks, tick them: the box is at the top right of each image. On a computer, it appears when the mouse moves over the artwork.

The Artworks screen: three artworks ticked, the box at the top right of each image, and the bottom bar showing 3 artworks selected.

A bar appears at the bottom of the screen, with the number of artworks ticked. Click Delete, then confirm. In this bar, Select all ticks all the artworks displayed.

The bottom bar: 3 artworks selected, Select all, then the CSV Export, Visibility, Change status, Change location, Delete and Cancel buttons.

An artwork linked to a pending sale, a dispute or an active payment link stays in place: a message tells you so.

Done

The artwork has left your Artworks, the MycreArt gallery and your Pro Site. It is waiting in the Trash: click your photo, top right, then Trash.

The menu open under the photo, top right: My profile, Account settings, Manage my subscription, Visibility on MycreArt, Trash, My public page, Logout.

In the trash, open Artworks. On the artwork's line, Purge date gives the day it will be erased for good, and Restore puts it back among your artworks, just as it was. On a phone, slide the line to the left to see this button.

The Deleted artworks screen: one line per artwork, with the deletion date, the scheduled deletion date, the Restore button and a bin icon.

What if…

The artwork is sold?

No need to delete it. In the list, click the status badge, at the top left of its image, and choose Sold: the artwork stays visible with that label, with no price. With the Pro subscription, record the sale instead: see Record a sale and send its documents.

Take it out of public view without deleting it?

Open its sheet. In the Visibility block, untick MycreArt gallery and My pro website, then click Save. The artwork stays in your space, visible to you alone.

It has a certificate or a sale?

You can delete it. The certificate already handed over remains valid: its QR code still leads to its verification page. The sale and its documents stay in Sales.

Erase it right away, without waiting 90 days?

In the Trash, on the artwork's line, click the red bin icon, then confirm. The artwork and its photos are then erased for good: this cannot be undone.

“Deletion unavailable”?

This artwork is linked to a pending sale, dispute or active payment link. Cancel the sale or deactivate the payment link before deleting it.
