Add an artwork

One photo is enough to start. The analysis prepares the sheet, you read it over, add the dimensions, the year and the price, then save: the artwork is in your gallery.

Open “Artworks” In your artist space.
The whole task on video, from the photo to the saved sheet.

Before you start

Screen 1 · Artworks

In the menu, open Artworks, then click New artwork, top right. On a phone, the button is called Add.

The Artworks page: the Artworks, Series and Places tabs, and on the right the Batch import and New artwork buttons.

Screen 2 · Add an artwork

Click inside the Click to choose your image frame and choose the photo of the artwork. On a phone, you can also take it on the spot, with the camera.

The Add an artwork screen: the “Click to choose your image” frame, the accepted formats and the Continue button.

The photo appears. Click Continue: the analysis reads the image and prepares the sheet, in a few seconds, sometimes a minute or two.

The same screen once the photo is chosen: its preview, the file name and the Continue button.

During the analysis, this window stays on screen:

The window shown while your sheet is being prepared: image upload, sheet preparation, pre-filling of the information.

Screen 3 · The artwork sheet

The sheet opens, already partly filled in. In Title and presentation, read the title and the presentation suggested by the analysis, and correct them: your own words are the ones that count. Further down, check Category & technique in the same way.

The Title and presentation block of the sheet: the title of the artwork, then the suggested presentation text.

In Dimensions & Year, enter the Height, the Width and the Year of creation. The analysis cannot know them, and the certificate of authenticity needs them.

The Dimensions and year block: the height and the width in centimeters, then the year of creation.

On the right, in Selling, choose the Sale status: For sale, and enter the price, or leave Not for sale. On a phone, this block is in the Availability tab.

The sale block: the sale status set to For sale, then the price including tax.

At the bottom of the sheet, click Save.

The bar at the bottom of the sheet: the date of the last change and the Save button.

Done

The artwork is at the top of your Artworks, with its status and its price. It is visible in the MycreArt gallery, and on your Pro Site if you have one: on the sheet, the two boxes of the Visibility block, MycreArt gallery and My pro website, are ticked by default. Untick them to keep the artwork to yourself.

The list of artworks: the new artwork first, with its For sale status, its dimensions and its price.

What the visitor sees, in the gallery:

The artwork page in the MycreArt gallery: the photo, the artist's name, the title, the technique, the dimensions, the year and the price.

What if…

Several artworks to add at once?

With the Pro space, Batch import, next to New artwork, takes up to 10 photos at a time and creates one sheet per photo. These artworks stay hidden, marked “to check”, until you have read and saved each sheet.

How many artworks can I add?

The free space starts with 50 artworks; after that, new places open up over time, and the Artworks page tells you the date of the next one. The Pro space holds 2,000, straight away.

An artwork added by mistake?

On its sheet, click the three dots, top right, then Delete this artwork. The artwork goes to the Trash, which you will find in your account menu: it stays there for 90 days, long enough to restore it if you change your mind. See Delete an artwork.

The analysis got it wrong?

From the photo, it suggests the title, the presentation, the category, the technique, the style and the colors. Everything can be corrected on the sheet, then Save. The dimensions, the year and the price never come from it: you are the one who gives them.
