Reply to a comment

All the comments left on your artworks arrive in the same place, from the most recent to the oldest. You reply under the comment, without leaving the page.

Before you start

Screen 1 · Comments on your artworks

In the menu, open Messaging, then the Comments tab. On a phone, it is the third icon, the speech bubble.

Under the comment, click Reply.

The Comments tab: the number of commented artworks and people, the search, the All, Unanswered and Liked filters, then the comments with the Reply link under each one.

Write your reply in the field that opens, then click Reply.

Screen 2 · Conversation

To read the whole exchange around an artwork, click the comment line (View the conversation): the Conversation panel opens, with every comment on the artwork and a field to reply. The actions on a comment are on the right of its line.

Done

Your reply shows under the comment, on the artwork page, and the line carries the Replied mark. It also leaves the Unanswered filter: what remains in that filter is what is still waiting for a word from you.

What if…

Just say thanks, without writing?

The heart on the right of the comment (Like this comment): a sign that you have read it, without writing anything. The comment leaves Unanswered as if it had received a reply.

Find the ones waiting for a reply?

The Unanswered filter, above the list. Liked finds the ones you gave a heart to, and the search looks by artwork, by person or by word.

Highlight a comment?

In the Conversation panel, the pin icon on its line: Pin to the top of the thread. It stays at the top of the artwork's comments.

An inappropriate comment?

In the Conversation panel, on its line: Delete removes the comment; Block this artist hides all of that person's comments and prevents them from contacting you for as long as the block is active.

Correct or remove my reply?

In the Conversation panel, on the line of your reply: Edit or Delete.

Stop being notified, or be notified again?

In Settings, Notifications tab, the Comments and mentions line.
