Configure the DNS records
DNS tells the internet where to find your site. You add two records at your registrar.
The exact values (server IP address, CNAME target) are shown in your MycreArt dashboard once you've entered your domain. Copy them directly from there; this guide shows the general structure.

It points your root domain (yourname.com) to MycreArt's server IP address.

Customer area → Domains → your domain → DNS Zone → Add an entry. Choose A then CNAME.
At Gandi
Domains → your domain → DNS Records → Add. Enter A for the root domain (the @ field) and CNAME for www.

Manager → Domains → your domain → DNS Zone → Add a record. Type A then CNAME.

Enter your domain
From your dashboard, open Pro Site → Settings, expand the Custom domain section and enter your address (no http:// or www).

Follow the DNS instructions
MycreArt shows the exact values to configure at your registrar: IP address for the A record, target for the CNAME. Use the Copy button.

Click Verify
Once the DNS records are saved at your registrar, return to the verification page and click Verify my domain. Once validated, HTTPS is generated automatically.
DNS propagation: a bit of patience
When you change your DNS records, the new configuration spreads gradually: plan for anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours. If verification fails, wait and retry with the values shown in MycreArt. To track propagation from any country, use dnschecker.org.
Frequently asked questions
Between €10 and €15 per year for classic extensions (.com, .fr). More specific extensions like .art or .studio can reach €20–30 per year. The fee is annual, renewable at your registrar.
Three changes maximum, with a 30-day waiting period between each. This limit preserves the stability of your shared links and avoids impulsive changes that confuse visitors.
MycreArt automatically redirects your old addresses to the new one, with a permanent redirect (301), as long as your Pro account is active. Your visitors don't land on a missing page.
Yes. MycreArt automatically generates and renews an HTTPS certificate for your custom domain via Let's Encrypt. Nothing to install or pay extra.
Yes, with no time limit. The yourname.mycre.art subdomain is included in the Pro subscription and stays active as long as you're on Pro. You're never required to buy a personal domain.
Your Pro Site stays visible for a short while, then shows a holding page. Your data and settings are kept, and the site reappears as soon as you renew. Your personal domain remains your property at your registrar: you just point it elsewhere.
